We are committed to continuing educational activity for all members of the practice team. Also we feel that being involved with the training of less experienced clinicians and taking part in research helps keep us fresh and up to date.
We are accredited to train doctors and nurses from time to time at our practice. Occasionally another clinician will sit in on a consultation as part of this process, similarly we sometimes video record a consultation to analyse later. You will be offered the chance to opt out of any such activities should you so wish.
We are involved with research trials at the practice. These are usually organised by academics at medical schools or university hospitals and will have been through local ethics committee approval. Should you potentially be involved you will be informed and can of course decline.
